“This is just the beginning—of the climate crisis, and the political unravelings that will continue to accompany it. And so, it is time to shout, and loudly, that the freedom of all the earth’s people to move across borders must be at the center of any response to the climate crisis. Unless we do, racism and fear—hidden as always in the guise of “security”—will give way to fascism and war before the tides get a chance to drown us.”

Ben Erenreich, here.

I think it’s safe to say that Climate ChangeTM is now dogma used for political control. The only thing that has changed is the temerity of those preaching it.

Some updates: Alf’s Garden of the Internet is back up. Heartiste is active over at Gab. Cambria Will Not Yield moved here, back in April.

A bit late, but here is an article on Victor Orban and his handling of Hungary and the refugee crisis in Europe: Hungary and the Future of Europe. A taste:

“Hungary must protect its ethnic and cultural composition,” he said at Kötcse (which more or less rhymes with butcher). “I am convinced that Hungary has the right—and every nation has the right—to say that it does not want its country to change.” France and Britain had been perfectly within their prerogatives to admit millions of immigrants from the former Third World. Germany was entitled to welcome as many Turks as it liked. “I think they had a right to make this decision,” Orbán said. “We have a duty to look at where this has taken them.” He did not care to repeat the experiment.

National Post has an article on the ever changing nature of the ‘Climate Change’ scare, now rebranded the ‘Climate EmergencyTM‘. For Canuckistanis, you should be slightly concerned, as renaming something as an emergency could be used later on to exercise some very arbitrary steps by Ottawa under the Emergencies Act. Who’s daddy said “Just watch me!”?

download[Pierre] TrudeauYes, well there are a lot of bleeding hearts around who just don’t like to see people with helmets and guns. All I can say is, go on and bleed, but it is more important to keep law and order in this society than to be worried about weak-kneed people who don’t like the looks of a soldier’s helmet.
RalfeAt any cost? How far would you go with that? How far would you extend that?
TrudeauWell, just watch me.

Pierre’s comments on bleeding hearts remind me of his son.

Jim on Trump’s visit to England and making Brexit high status. Of course, a bioleninist parade breaks out in response. Also, Jim on the changing tide of the use of law enforcement for political ends.

American Sun with an analysis of how progressives use disadvantaged groups in contradictory ways to suit their cause: Schrodinger’s Blacks. I’d bet we see a similar trend within twenty years or so with feminism. Feminists (or faux feminist politicians looking for votes) will say that women were oppressed by the Patriarchy when they were forced to stop being mothers and enter the labour force during ‘Women’s Liberation’. By being turned into ‘sex slaves’ for mens desires during the ‘Sexual Revolution’. By being offered better birth control and abortion so men could avoid their responsibilities. And they will argue that we knew better, given the unhappiness reported and drug and anti-depressant usage by women that followed, but kept on doing it anyway, largely driven by corporations and governments run by men. They’ll loudly proclaim that women should be free to be housewives and raise their children, and of course, to have a man support them. It will be the 11th wave of feminism. And they won’t even detect the irony as they go full circle, claiming the past’s hard won ‘victories’ are today’s oppressions.

Móðir og Barn. Alvöru Sigur.

The issue of how men and women interelate in society and share power is at least as old as…men and women. What we have these days is an exacerbated version of that friction. Its practitioners aren’t really interested in resolving conflicts or problems, but more on what angle they can use to maximize votes, clicks, adherents or whatever they’re looking for. The natural tension never goes away, and so it is a boundless well to get men and women agitating against each other.

In the future, no one will have agency, unless you need them hated. Rant over…

Keep on reactin’
